Itinerary
DAY 1:
- ✈️ Arrival at Inírida airport.
- 🚤 Travel by curiara (traditional boat) along the Inírida River towards the Mavicure Hills.
- 🍽️ Traditional welcome lunch at the Venado indigenous reserve.
- 🌿 Ecological walk and hiking in the surroundings.
- 🌅 Sunset from the Dugjin viewpoint.
- 🏡 Dinner and lodging at Los Tucanes lodge.
DAY 2:
- 🌄 Early snack and climb to the Mavicure Hill to enjoy the panoramic view.
- 🍳 Breakfast at the lodge and rest.
- 🍲 Lunch and visit to the Venado indigenous community for a cultural exchange.
- 🌊 Swimming in the reddish waters of Caño San Joaquín.
- 🚤 Return by curiara and dinner at the lodge.
DAY 3:
- 🍳 Breakfast.
- 🚤 Visit to the Estrella Fluvial of Inírida, a magical union of rivers.
- 💧 Refreshing swim in its waters.
- 🍲 Lunch in Amanavén (Vichada).

Restrictions
- ♿ People with reduced mobility (the terrain features slopes and conditions of difficult access).
- 🫀 People with serious heart or respiratory conditions.

- 🩺 People who have undergone recent surgeries.
- 👤 Recommended for ages 5 and up (Children under 5 must be carried in a carrier at the adult's responsibility).
- 💊 If you have any medical condition, it is mandatory to carry your medications with you throughout the tour.
- Is the climb to the Mavicure hills easy? It is somewhat difficult; access is challenging due to the incline, covering 1.2 kilometers with a trail slope ranging from 92 to 1,200 meters above sea level. You can see more information in the video we have provided here.
- How can I get to Inírida? The airline Satena has two flights departing from Bogotá: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
- Is there phone reception? If you use Claro, you will have good coverage in most areas; if you use Movistar, you will not have very good coverage. Do you want to stay extra days? We can help you coordinate lodging and other activities. However, we always recommend that these plans be managed through known contacts, as you could otherwise incur additional costs.
💳 Payment and Reservation Policies
- Reservation: Confirm your spot with 30% of the total value. Send the receipt via WhatsApp. The deposit is non-refundable in cash.
- Remaining balance (70%): Paid on the day of the tour, before starting the activity, in cash or via verified transfer.
⚠️ Cancellation and Rescheduling
- 7 or more days in advance: Reschedule at no cost. 100% of your deposit remains as a credit (valid for 6 months).
- 3 to 6 days before: Reschedule with a 20% penalty of the total value for logistical expenses.
- Less than 48 hours or No-Show: Last-minute cancellation, failure to attend, or lateness implies the loss of the 30% deposit, with no right to reschedule.
- Suspension during the route: Due to risky weather, road closures, or authorities' decisions, if the activity must be suspended once started, the outing will be rescheduled. Only non-recoverable expenses will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be kept as a credit.
