Important Information: Nevado del Ruiz has been under yellow alert for several years. For this reason, it is only possible to reach the “Tumbas” sector, where it is unlikely to find snow.

• Lunch – 12:30 PM

• Return to Manizales – 6:00 PM

📋 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• How long is the hike? The tour is mostly by vehicle due to the yellow alert since 2012. There are short stops to walk and take pictures.
• Can I see snow at Nevado del Ruiz? It is unlikely, since access is only permitted up to the Tumbas sector.
• How many people fit in the vehicle? This depends on the season. Vehicles range from 4-passenger SUVs to 11-passenger vans.
• I want to visit Murillo after Nevado del Ruiz, how much extra is it? The cost is $350,000 COP per group. If 4 people go, the amount is split ($87,500 COP each in addition to the tour price).
