Discover a wonderful adventure near Pereira, where you will visit the Cauca River and admire its waters while traveling on a 🛤️ ‘marratina’ or, as it is also called, a ‘brujita’ (a motorcycle adapted to travel on railway tracks). After this experience, you will cross the Cauca River on a ‘garrucha’, and the hike ends at a beautiful waterfall.

🗺️ ITINERARY:

1. 🚙 Departure: Jeep from El Victoria, 7:30 a.m.
2. 🚂 Pereira Station: Marranita or brujita ride (15 min).
3. 🌊 Cauca River crossing: Garrucha (2 min).
4. 🥾 Hike: 1.5 km to the waterfall (arrival: 11:00 a.m.).
5. 🍲 Return: Restaurant and tables with a view of the Cauca River (1:00 p.m.).
6. 🚙 Arrival in Pereira: 4:00 or 5:00 p.m.

📋 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is the hike to the waterfall difficult? The walk starts from the farm where the garrucha drops us off. The route goes through a forest and requires crossing the river several times, so it is important to wear shoes with good grip.

Can children and older adults participate? The hike to the waterfall has some challenging sections; those who prefer not to do it can stay at the farm, where they can purchase lunch.
